What You'll Be Doing:
- Build Custom Crates: Construct wooden crates of various sizes using essential tools like nail/staple guns, drills, and grinders.
- Ensure Precision: Utilize a tape measure to ensure all cuts and assemblies are accurate (up to 1/8" accuracy).
- Assembly Tasks: Safely use ladders for crate assembly and work with adhesives and foam according to specific crate specifications.
- Follow Standards: Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure fast, quality work.
- Carpentry Expertise: Proven carpentry experience and strong working knowledge of both manual and power tools (including nail guns, drills, etc.).
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders accurately.
- Physical Stamina:
- Ability to lift 20 lbs comfortably.
- Ability to use a 3.5-inch nail gun while frequently crouching, kneeling, or standing.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs comfortably.
- Safety Focused: Commitment to workplace safety and following all protocols.
- Full-Time, Stable Hours
- Shift: Monday - Friday, working 10-12 hour shifts (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, subject to daily overtime).
- Overtime: Mandatory overtime is required on some Saturdays based on production needs.
