Responsibilities
• Machine Operations: Set up, edit programs, and operate production runs on CNC lathes, primarily utilizing Fanuc controls (G & M code).
• Technical Interpretation: Expertly read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate part production.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive set-up sheets for manufacturing processes.
• Validation: Review and validate NC code generated from programming to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Alignment: Ensure proper work holding and machine alignment for optimal performance and quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, other set-ups, and machinists on new product introductions (NPI) and continuous improvement projects.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machining, tooling, and programming
