Responsibilities
- Execute Mechanical Repairs: Perform scheduled and unscheduled mechanical repair and maintenance activities in close collaboration with the Maintenance Lead and/or Supervisor.
- Inventory Management: Periodically assess and document maintenance supply and tool levels, preparing detailed ordering requests for the purchasing process.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough visual inspections of ongoing and completed maintenance tasks to ensure adherence to established quality and safety standards.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Systematically perform routine lubrication and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility assets as outlined in the PM schedule.
- Fabrication and Installation: Participate in plant improvement projects by building, installing, and modifying new equipment. Fabricate new tools and replacement parts for items that are worn or obsolete.
- Troubleshooting Support: Promptly repair malfunctioning or defective equipment per the work schedule. Assist operations personnel with mechanical, electrical, or other technical issues that impact equipment functionality.
- Emergency Response: Provide immediate, high-priority maintenance support during urgent breakdowns to minimize production downtime, or as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
