Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage the QA team to ensure consistent execution of quality programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF/BRC, HACCP, GMPs, and all relevant regulatory and certification standards.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of food safety and quality management systems.
- Direct the preparation, coordination, and follow-up of third-party, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety, product quality, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D, Production, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues and ensure product consistency.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures for customer complaints, non-conformances, and deviations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to food safety and quality, and report results to senior leadership.
- Ensure accurate documentation, recordkeeping, and traceability systems are in place and maintained.
- Build and foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement within the QA team and across the facility.
