Responsibilities

• Expertly operate and program CMM equipment utilizing software such as MCOSMOS, CALYPSO, or equivalent systems.
• Perform precise dimensional inspections on complex components and assemblies using engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
• Interpret blueprints, technical documentation, and CAD models to design, write, and troubleshoot robust programs for automated inspection.
• Analyze inspection data, generate comprehensive quality reports, and effectively communicate results and discrepancies to the Engineering and Quality teams.
• Maintain the calibration and ensure the proper functioning of CMM and other precision measurement equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root cause analysis for quality-related issues.
• Utilize systems like MFGPro for systematic part processing and WISPER for defective material reports (DMR).
