Responsibilities
- Quality Control & Assurance Oversight:
- Oversee quality assurance and control activities throughout the plant and warehouse.
- Be responsible for the care and maintenance of all quality inspection equipment.

- Inspection and Approval:
- Perform first-piece inspection of production parts.
- Approve incoming and outgoing products and materials.
- Inspect outgoing material prior to shipment.
- Inspect and accurately document all returned goods from customers.
- Perform first-piece inspection of production parts.
- Process Compliance and Auditing:
- Inspect for internal compliance with established specifications.
- Audit departmental processes to ensure procedures are followed and all required documentation is completed.
- Must be able to perform ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports) and PPAP's (Production Part Approval Process).
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document quality information into established spreadsheet formats.
- Report to the Quality Manager.

- Communication and Issue Resolution:
- Notify management of any quality issues that affect production or customers.
- Work with department supervisors and company management to identify and correct product/process areas of concern.
- Communicate and assist in correcting customer complaints regarding quality.
