Are you a highly skilled technician who takes pride in keeping the heart of a facility beating? We are looking for a First Class Steam Licensed Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you won’t just be monitoring gauges; you will be the primary guardian of our client's complex industrial systems. If you have a sharp eye for mechanical diagnostics, a mastery of precision alignment, and the versatile skill set to handle everything from light welding to electrical troubleshooting, we want to hear from you.

salary: $62,400 - $72,800 per year

Responsibilities

•  Monitor and manage boilers, chillers, wells, and cooling towers. Use precision instruments to troubleshoot issues and ensure peak performance.
  
  
•  Maintain detailed logs of equipment readings and immediately report any deviations from standard operating parameters to management.
  
  
•  Execute scheduled PM tasks on all machinery, including compressed air systems, to mitigate the risk of plant failure.
  
  
• Disassemble machinery to inspect parts for wear or damage. Replace or repair components based on visual inspection and dimensional analysis using calipers and micrometers.
  
  
• Utilize metalworking machinery—including grinders, mills, and drill presses—to fabricate or refurbish custom parts.
  
  
• Perform essential cleaning and lubrication of mechanical parts and ensure all maintenance aligns with manufacturer specifications.
  
  
•  Validate equipment performance after repairs and manage the requisition process for necessary parts and inventory.
