Randstad is seeking a high-caliber Operations Manager to lead a 2nd-shift warehouse operations at a Cudahy, WI plant. This is a critical leadership position responsible for the safety, productivity, and morale of a large team. You will directly manage 8 Supervisors and oversee a total workforce of 50+ team members.

The ideal candidate is a "leader of leaders" who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment, excels at strategic problem-solving, and is committed to maintaining our high standards of operational excellence during the second half of the day



salary: $125,000 - $130,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 2 PM - 12 AM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

Directly and indirectly leading a diverse team of 50+ employees, including 8 supervisors

Act as a primary point of contact

Lead training programs to transition traditional warehouse workers into "automation-literate" operators who can troubleshoot basic system issues

Follow OSHA, fire code, and local labor law requirements

Drive 5S and Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste in both automated and manual processes

Empower Floor Supervisors to become effective on-the-job coaches through formal training

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation interfaces

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
