Responsibilities
- Visual Inspection: Perform detailed microscopic inspections of complex electronic assemblies, ensuring compliance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
- Mechanical Measurement: Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to verify mechanical dimensions against blueprints and schematics.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate inspection records, process non-conformance reports (NCRs), and ensure all documentation meets ITAR and AS9100 requirements.
- First Article Inspection (FAI): Conduct thorough FAI evaluations to validate manufacturing processes for new product runs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
