Randstad is looking for a skilled Electronics Assembler to join a high-precision manufacturing team in EAST MEADOW, NY. This role is perfect for a technician who takes pride in "perfect-soldering" and thrives in a high-compliance, aerospace-grade production environment.

You will be responsible for the hand-assembly of sophisticated frequency-control devices where precision is measured in microns and reliability is non-negotiable.



salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Precision Soldering: Perform complex hand soldering of through-hole and surface mount (SMT) components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  
  
• Component Installation: Populate boards according to technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  
  
• Mechanical Assembly: Assemble electronic housings, including wire routing, connector installation, and potting processes.
  
  
• Standards Adherence: Ensure every assembly meets J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards.
  
  
• Rework & Repair: Identify and correct soldering defects or component misalignments using de-soldering tools and microscopes.
