Are You Patient, Focused, and Detail-Oriented? We are working with a company in Hampton who is seeking highly focused individuals to join our micro-assembly team in Hampton. This specialized role is perfect for someone who excels in a quiet, independent work environment and has the patience to work with incredibly small components.
If you prefer a "heads-down" workspace where you can focus on your tasks without the distraction of a chatty environment, this is the ideal position for you.
This position involves working independently at a dedicated station, primarily sitting, to assemble the world’s smallest and fastest connector technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Microscopic Precision: Build and assemble micro-assembly product lines while working through a microscope for extended periods.
- Specialized Tooling: Handle tiny, intricate parts using tweezers, vacuum tools, and other precision instruments.
- Independent Workflow: Follow standard operating procedures to build subassemblies and final products with minimal noise and distraction.
- Quality Inspection: Use your depth perception to inspect finished products for quality and adherence to engineering prints.
- Data Recording: Measure and record technical data associated with the products you build.
- Focus & Discipline: A high level of concentration and the ability to work alone in a lab-like setting.
- Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination; experience with jewelry making, small model building, or fine arts is highly applicable.Vision: Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus under a microscope.
- Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. No experience is necessary, as we provide full training for those with the right manual skills.
- Proof of Citizenship: Candidates must be a "U.S. person" (u.s. citizen or Resident Alien).
- Interview Requirements: You must bring a valid photo ID and proof of citizenship/residency status to your interview.
- Pre-Employment: A background check and drug test are required for all candidates.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and assemble materials, build product subassemblies or final assemblies, plate product.
• Test and inspect products or subassemblies for functionality and quality.
• Set up and operate production fixtures and tools in accordance with good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to engineering prints.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Clean production equipment, products, and work areas.
• Measure and record data associated with products.
