Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Assembler to join our team in Newark. This is a fast-paced role focused on the high-volume assembly of wooden boxes. If you are handy with power tools, thrive in a physical work environment, and are looking for steady overtime, this is the position for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly: Use industrial glue guns and pneumatic nail guns to assemble wooden boxes according to specific dimensions.
- Quality Control: Ensure all finished products meet structural and aesthetic standards.
- Efficiency: Maintain a consistent pace to meet daily production targets.
- Safety: Operate all machinery and tools in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Days: Monday through Saturday (6-day work week).
- Start Time: 12:00 PM.
- Shift Length: 8 to 11.5 hours per day (depending on production volume).
- Overtime: Regular daily and weekly overtime is required.
- Punctuality: Must be exceptionally reliable and on time every day.
- Tool Experience: Proficiency with glue guns and pneumatic nail guns is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
- Commitment: Ability to work a demanding schedule, including Saturdays.
