The Tapered Insulation Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate take-offs, layouts, and cost estimates for tapered insulation systems used in commercial roofing. This position also includes estimating and bidding on other roof-related materials, such as membranes, cover boards, fasteners, and accessories.

Responsibilities
Review architectural and structural drawings to prepare tapered insulation layouts and estimates • Use CAD software or manufacturer-specific tools to design tapered insulation systems • Prepare bids and quotes for other roof-related items (membranes, insulation, fasteners, etc.) • Collaborate with sales reps, project managers, and customers to clarify project requirements • Work with manufacturers to ensure accurate product pricing and availability • Maintain organized project files and ensure timely submissions of bids • Stay up to date on commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation best practices • Coordinate orders with customers and place with the manufacturer.
