Responsibilities
- Plating Operations:
- Set up and operate plating equipment according to established procedures.
- Prepare parts and materials for plating, including cleaning and masking.
- Monitor and adjust plating parameters to ensure optimal results.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect plated parts for defects and ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Perform routine tests and measurements to verify the thickness and uniformity of the plating.
- Document and report any issues or defects found during the plating process.
- Maintenance:
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of plating equipment.
- Monitor chemical levels and make necessary adjustments to maintain proper bath chemistry.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment or process issues.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Comply with all environmental regulations and company policies.
