Position Overview Are you a detail-oriented technician with a passion for precision? We are seeking a high-level Electronics Assembler to join a premier manufacturing team in Kansas City. This isn't just a "line" job; we are looking for a professional who understands complex schematics, high-standard soldering, and component-level assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Precision Assembly: Perform complex through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, wire diagrams, and technical schematics to ensure 100% build accuracy.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and rework assembly errors or component defects.
- Quality Testing: Use multimeters and other diagnostic tools to verify electrical continuity and functional performance.
- Wire Harnessing: Build and install intricate cable assemblies and wire harnesses into larger electronic housings.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in electronics assembly or a related technical field.
- Resume Required: A detailed work history showing experience with fine-motor assembly and technical tools.
- Hiring Process: Must be available for an in-person interview to demonstrate technical knowledge.
- Background/Drug Screen: Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and a 10-panel drug screen.
- Certifications (Preferred): IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certifications are a major plus.

Essential Job Functions
Assemble main distribution frames according to technical specifications and
engineering drawings
Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cables on distribution blocks
Mount and secure distribution blocks, cable management systems, and
protective devices
Perform continuity testing and basic troubleshooting of assembled frames
Label cables and equipment according to company standards
Maintain accurate assembly documentation and quality control records
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams on assembly
requirements
Other duties as assigned

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust

Work performed in warehouse/manufacturing environment
Education & Experience
Associate degree in electronics, telecommunications, or related field
Industry certifications (BICSI, CompTIA Network+, or similar)
Experience with specific MDF manufacturers (e.g., Siemon, CommScope,
Panduit)
Knowledge of network infrastructure and data center environments
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
