Responsibilities
- Manual vs. Automated Audit: Compare physical fill levels in containers against the data generated by automated filling machines.
- Discrepancy Identification: Flag any "overfills" (which cost the company money) or "underfills" (which lead to legal/compliance issues).
- Batch Record Review: Ensure that every batch report aligns with the master production record.
- Fill Report Analysis: Analyze hourly or daily fill reports to identify trends or recurring mechanical errors.
- Statistical Logging: Record deviations using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods.
- Final Approval: Sign off on completed reports before products are cleared for shipping.
- Scale/Sensor Testing: Regularly test the accuracy of the scales and sensors that generate the fill reports.
- Standardization: Ensure all measuring equipment meets NIST or ISO standards.
