We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our sanitation team in Bay Shore. This role is critical for maintaining facility safety and cleanliness during our off-peak hours. Key Responsibilities
- Facility Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and sanitize production areas, warehouses, and restrooms.
- Waste Management: Empty trash receptacles and transport waste/recycling to designated disposal areas.
- Equipment Care: Clean and sanitize machinery and industrial tools following strict safety protocols.
- Communication: Assist supervisors by translating instructions and safety guidelines for Spanish-speaking team members.
- Safety Compliance: Handle cleaning chemicals safely and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Reliability: Dependable transportation to Bay Shore for overnight shifts is a must.
- Experience: Prior experience in sanitation, janitorial work, or warehouse maintenance is preferred but not required.
