We are seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead a Manchester-based electronics equipment facility. The ideal candidate will oversee all daily operations, from production and supply chain management to local sales support and staff development. You will be responsible for ensuring that our facility operates efficiently, remains profitable, and maintains the high-quality standards expected in the electronics industry. Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations including production scheduling, inventory control, and equipment maintenance to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase the facility’s overall output.
- Financial Management: Oversee the local budget, monitor P&L statements, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising product integrity.
- Team Development: Hire, train, and mentor a diverse team of technicians, assembly workers, and administrative staff. Foster a culture of safety and professional growth.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet industry certifications (such as ISO standards) and customer specifications.
- Community & Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for local vendors and partners in the Greater Manchester area.
