- Experience: 10+ years of high-level upholstery experience (5+ years required).
- Skill Set: Expert-level manual dexterity and the ability to recognize diverse styles of upholstery materials.
- Precision: An "eye" for detail—knowing the exact tension limits to avoid tearing while ensuring a smooth, tight finish.
- Pay Range: $28.00 - $38.00+ per hour
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Rare OT—enjoy your afternoons!)

Responsibilities
Expert Craftsmanship: Execute high-end upholstery builds from start to finish using loose textiles and luxury materials to meet exacting project specifications.
Leadership & Development: Serve as a technical subject matter expert by training and guiding junior team members in sophisticated upholstery methods.
Precision Component Assembly: Apply expert-level techniques to a diverse range of furniture, including complex seat boards, full frames, sofas, and custom headboards.
Advanced Technical Execution: Utilize professional trade skills such as precision blind tacking and ply grip application to ensure flawless fabric placement.
Specialty Material Handling: Demonstrate mastery in working with premium mediums, including genuine leather and textiles requiring intricate pattern or flow-matching.
Quality & Safety Excellence: Work in tandem with the QA department to uphold rigorous craftsmanship standards while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workstation.
Material Manipulation: Expertly use professional hand tools to safely shape, stretch, and bond materials to furniture frames.
Collaborative Improvement: Engage with production leadership to refine workflows and enhance overall product quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
