We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MIG Welder to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fusing metals using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding processes to create high-quality components. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, maintains a clean workspace, and prioritizes safety above all else. Requirements: Experience in structural/non-structural steel welding, ability to pass certification tests, and proficiency in selecting proper wire speed/current.  

salary: $43,000 - $43,500 per year

Responsibilities

• Welding & Fabrication: Perform high-quality MIG welding on [specify material, e.g., steel, aluminum, or stainless steel] based on blueprints and technical drawings.
  
  
• Preparation: Position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding using jigs, fixtures, and clamps.
  
  
• Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of finished welds to ensure they meet structural and cosmetic standards; grind or clean welds as necessary.
  
  
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding guns, liners, and gas tanks to ensure optimal machine performance.
  
  
• Safety: Maintain a safe and organized work area; strictly follow all OSHA guidelines and wear required PPE (welding helmet, gloves, etc.).
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs
