Machine Shop Supervisor Location: Hampton, NH Compensation: $95,000 – $100,000 per year Status: Direct Hire | Full-Time The Opportunity Are you a seasoned machining expert with a knack for leadership and a sharp eye for precision?  We are looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor to steer our production team in Hampton.  This isn’t just about watching the floor—it’s about optimizing workflows, managing high-value assets, and ensuring our shop runs like a well-oiled machine. Key Responsibilities

•  Schedule, set up, and track jobs to ensure on-time delivery and peak efficiency.
• Delegate daily tasks and provide the technical mentorship required for the team to hit precision targets.
• Purchase essential materials and tooling; manage the workflow of completed orders (bagging, labeling, and delivery).
• Maintain the "paper trail" by providing monthly income/cost reports and logging completed inventory into Microsoft AX.
• Keep the shop running by troubleshooting equipment, scheduling repairs, and managing building maintenance (including oil/filter changes and vacuum systems).
• Provide additional support to the production floor whenever the mission requires it.

What You Bring to the Table We are looking for a blend of technical mastery and administrative proficiency.

• Experience: 5–10 years in a related industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or the equivalent in professional machining experience.
• Machining Expertise: 
  • strong knowledge of CMM programming and operations.
  • Proven track record machining high-value, tightly toleranced components.
• Hands-on experience with Surface Grinders and CNC Machines (Haas experience is a major plus).
• Proficient in CAD/CAM tools (CREO and/or SolidWorks is a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with MRP software (Microsoft AX experience is highly preferred).
