Responsibilities
- Set-up and adjust CNC machines (mills and lathes) for production runs
- Interpret and edit FANUC programming code for proper machine operation
- Conduct first-run part inspections to ensure correct set-up and tolerances
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot any issues, and make necessary adjustments
- Load and unload materials and parts, ensuring proper alignment and setup
- Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to check parts for accuracy and quality
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and wear adjustments to maintain part tolerance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow safety protocols and assist in the maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with production teams to meet and exceed production goals
