Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment & Mechanical: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery and motorized equipment.
- Systems Repair: Fix electrical (low/line voltage), plumbing, and HVAC systems, including filter changes and cooling service.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose electro-mechanical issues and coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs.
- Facility Housekeeping: Handle routine cleaning, trash removal, bathroom restocking, and spill response.
- Fabrication & Install: Layout water distribution systems and weld or fabricate brackets/fixtures as needed.
- Grounds & Safety: Maintain walkways (leaf blowing/snow removal) and conduct structural safety inspections.
- Tech Ops: Manage work orders via CMMS and adjust computerized lighting/energy control systems.
- Adaptability: A friendly communicator able to pivot quickly between technical repairs and general facility tasks.
- Physicality: Ability to climb ladders, traverse a manufacturing floor, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with extreme temperatures and chemical exposure.
- Certifications: Forklift and Hazardous Waste experience preferred; we will train and certify if needed.
