- Precision Blending: Accurately measure, weigh, and mix liquid and dry raw materials according to established batch formulas and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot various blending and processing equipment, including mixers, pumps, and reactors.
- Quality Assurance: Perform in-process quality checks, adjust mixtures as needed, and submit samples to the QA lab to ensure the final product meets all specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous and accurate batch records, logs, and inventory documentation.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all chemical handling, safety, and regulatory guidelines, including the consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work Area Maintenance: Conduct timely cleaning, sanitation, and changeover procedures for all mixing equipment and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Material Handling: Safely transport raw materials and finished goods within the facility, utilizing forklifts or pallet jacks as necessary.
- Proven experience as a Batch Maker, Chemical Mixer, Compounder, or similar role in a manufacturing setting (chemical, food, pharmaceutical, etc.).
- Math skills and experience with measurement tools and conversions.
- Ability to read, understand, and precisely follow written instructions (batch tickets/formulas).
- Forklift certification is a plus.

- Maintenance and Cleaning: Performing set up, change over, and daily cleaning and maintenance of mixing equipment, tanks, and the general work area.
- Material Handling: Moving and transferring bulk chemicals and other materials, often using equipment like a forklift or pallet jack
