We are seeking a mechanically inclined Blow Molding Process Technicians to join a production team in Winder. This role requires at least 2 years of experience specifically within a blow molding industrial environment. This is a hands-on technical position focused on the setup, operation, and continuous monitoring of our blow molding machinery. We are looking for "doers"—technicians who understand parison control and cooling cycles, and who enjoy troubleshooting equipment to keep the line running at peak efficiency. We have 2nd and 3rd shift openings, Monday-Friday. Pay Range is $20/hr-$25/hr depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine startups, shutdowns, and changeovers specifically for blow molding equipment.
  
  
• Monitor critical process parameters—including melt temperature, parison weight, and cycle times—and make real-time adjustments.
  
  
• Troubleshoot common blow molding defects (e.g., thin spots, parison swing, or improper neck formation) to minimize downtime and reduce scrap.
  
  
• Conduct regular quality inspections and document production metrics to ensure all containers meet Schütz’s rigorous standards.
  
  
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and resolve equipment wear or recurring technical issues.
  
  
• Maintain a safe, organized work zone by following 5S standards and high-volume manufacturing safety protocols.
  
  
• Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
