A manufacturing company in Suffolk County, NY is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setup & Operator to join their growing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes including tooling, work holding, offsets, and program loading
  
  
• Operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture parts to print specifications
  
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
  
  
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators, etc.)
  
  
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling to maintain dimensional accuracy
  
  
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
  
  
• Maintain production documentation and inspection records
  
  
• Change tooling and perform routine preventative maintenance
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  
  
• Follow company safety policies and standard operating procedures
