Position Summary My client is seeking a skilled Flexo Folder Gluer (FFG) Operator to join their production team. This is a direct hire opportunity for a professional who takes pride in mechanical precision and high-quality output. You will lead the operation of our corrugated converting machinery, ensuring that every run meets our rigorous standards for printing, slotting, and gluing.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert Setup: Perform full machine setups for Flexo Folder Gluers or Rotary Die Cutters, including plate mounting, ink management, and setting folding/gluing sections.
  
  
• Technical Operation: Lead the machine crew to maintain high-speed production while monitoring for jam-ups, print defects, or structural inconsistencies.
  
  
• Quality First: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all finished products align with customer specifications and job tickets.
  
  
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical and print issues (e.g., skew, registration, or ink coverage) to minimize downtime.
  
  
• Leadership & Safety: Mentor assistant operators/helpers and strictly follow all LOTO and plant safety protocols.
  
  

Qualifications

• Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience operating Flexo Folder Gluers (e.g., Ward, Martin, Langston) or Rotary Die Cutters.
  
  
• Technical Literacy: Ability to read complex shop orders and blueprints; proficiency with tape measures and calipers.
  
  
• Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality, especially for the 11 PM – 7 AM shift.
