We are seeking an elite Mechanical Roll Mechanic to lead the precision disassembly and rebuild of mission-critical paper production rolls weighing between 1,000 to 100,000+ lbs. This is a high-impact role responsible for the structural and mechanical integrity of 50-ton industrial assemblies that drive high-speed manufacturing lines. Using specialized heavy rigging and manual hand tools, you will perform technical teardowns of journals, bearings, and housings, identifying microscopic wear to ensure peak operational reliability and machine uptime. Responsibilities

 Disassemble industrial rolls and roll assemblies safely and accurately for inspection and
repair.
 Inspect journals, bearings, housings, seals, gears, and related components for wear or
damage.
 Measure components against specifications and identify outoftolerance conditions.
 Reassemble rolls following mechanical specifications, torque requirements, and alignment
standards.
