Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management: Manage and lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Client Support: Assist a wide range of clients with the specific needs and demands of their supply chains.
- Performance & Productivity: Ensure acceptable levels of performance in your assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and managing cost controls.
- Customer Service & KPIs: Guarantee exceptional customer service by hitting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for your area. This includes order fill rate accuracy, inventory accuracy, and passing unannounced inspections.
- Process Improvement: Achieve performance goals through continuous KPI monitoring, promoting LEAN principles, and driving process improvements.
- Safety & Compliance: Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment, ensuring you meet or exceed Saddle Creek's corporate safety goals.
- Communication: Effectively communicate goals, expectations, successes, and areas for improvement to your team.
- Associate Development: Coach, train, and mentor your associates to give them opportunities to grow and develop. You will also be responsible for conducting their annual performance reviews.
