- Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, fixtures, and punch press components
- Troubleshoot die issues on the shop floor to minimize downtime
- Maintain die PM system and ensure preventive maintenance is completed on schedule
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure tooling components are in stock
- Work with Tool Design Engineers to build new dies and fixtures
- Support punch press setup and stamping operations as needed
- Identify opportunities to reduce stamping defects and improve productivity
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 5 years completed Tool Room apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Experience in deep draw stamping and punch press setup strongly preferred
- Proficient in GD&T and advanced shop math
- Skilled with calipers, micrometers, height gages, and pin gages
- Experience operating mills, grinders, drill presses, band saws, and lathes
- Must be able to set up stamping presses independently
- Must have own tools
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Journeyman experiance
- Deep draw stainless steel stamping
- High-precision metal fabrication environments
- Experience supporting continuous improvement in stamping operations
- $35–$45/hour based on experience
