Responsibilities
As an Electromechanical Technician (assembler), you will be responsible for:
- assembling components onto panels or into enclosures, making sure you follow mechanical layout/drawings closely.
- Building the inside electrical panels for large Solar Panels- as well as assembling the panel itself
- the ability to wire per electrical schematics and follow predefined work standards and guidelines.
- 1- 2+ years (preferably 2 or more) of electromechanical assembly or technician work in a production setting. Particularly for larger builds
- Consecutive experience in those roles, or multiple years (2+) in a role that's related
- Former panel assembly experience, or advanced knowledge of electronic assembly
- extreme attention to detail preferred
- Must be able to understand schematics
- Must have the ability to complete builds using step by step process
- Familiar with assembly and wiring a range of drive products including AC & DC drives, variable speed drives, motor exciters, remote I/O stations, and operator stations.
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or minimum 2 years of related industry experience.
- Knowledgeable with panel assembly and wiring.
- Knowledge of UL508A standards.
- Willingness to learn new products.
- standing for 8 hours at one time
- working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
Skills
- Blueprint Reading (1 year of experience is preferred)
- Electrical Engineering (1 year of experience is preferred)
- Mechanical Assembling (1 year of experience is preferred)
