We are hiring Assemblers for a manufacturing facility in Happaugue, NY. This is a great opportunity for someone with assembly or production experience who enjoys detailed work and wants to be part of a technical environment. Location: Happaugue, NY Schedule: Full-time
What you will do:
- Wind transformers and magnetic devices including bobbins, toroids, and layer windings
- Perform mechanical assembly of transformers and related components
- Assemble and wire magnetic and electromechanical products
- Complete pull winding and layer winding based on instructions
- Solder components and complete rework as needed
- Read winding sheets, part lists, and mechanical drawings
- Use hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment during production
- Work with different wire types and installation systems
- Support additional production and assembly tasks as needed
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse work, or a technical certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with mechanical assembly, soldering, rework, or wiring
- Ability to read diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic measuring or testing equipment
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage time well
- Able to perform simple math and follow detailed processes
- Team-oriented with a positive, ready-to-work attitude
- Lift and move units up to 20 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods
- Repetitive hand use and good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to use a soldering iron

Responsibilities
- Wind transformers and magnetic devices including bobbins, toroids, and layer windings
- Perform transformer mechanical assembly and sub-assembly work
- Assemble and wire magnetic and electromechanical components
- Complete pull winding and layer winding processes based on work instructions
- Perform soldering and rework of components to quality standards
- Read and interpret winding sheets, part lists, mechanical drawings, and specifications
- Use hand tools and basic manufacturing equipment to complete assembly tasks
- Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to production requirements
- Work with various wire types and installation systems during assembly
- Support rework, troubleshooting, and other production duties as assigned
