Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, environmental, and acceptance testing on aerospace components and systems
- Set up and operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, data acquisition systems, and specialized fixtures
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical issues
- Record, analyze, and report test data accurately and clearly
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve test failures and improve product performance
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment as required
- Ensure compliance with company, industry, and safety standards
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–6 years of experience in testing, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing
- strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
- Hands-on experience with standard lab/test equipment
- strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data analysis tools
- Experience with aerospace standards (e.g., AS9100)
- Familiarity with environmental testing (thermal, vibration, etc.)
- Experience with automated test systems or LabVIEW
- IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610) is a plus
