Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum production uptime by performing emergency repairs and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-energy environment and brings specific expertise in plastics manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of production machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to perform precise repairs.
- Perform routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) to minimize downtime.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns on the production floor.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance; experience in a plastics environment (injection molding, extrusion, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: ability to read and follow blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Shift Flexibilty: Ability to work the 2nd shift consistently and overtime as needed.
- Pay Rate: $28–$32/hr
- Top Requirements: Plastics experience, Blueprint reading, 2nd shift availability. Must be able to train on 1st Shift
