Responsibilities
The Calibration Engineer is responsible for calibrating customer metrology equipment, testing customer finished products in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines, as well as assisting in the assembly, calibration, repair, and installation of equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform inhouse calibrations on customer metrology equipment to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform non-destructive environmental testing on customer finished products to ensure they meet requirements set by applicable regulatory bodies.
- Perform onsite calibrations and repair of test equipment
- Assembling test fixtures
- Interact with customers for remote tech support via telephone and/or email
- Assembly and installation of custom test equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all work functions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure compliance with safety standards
