Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hr (Based on Experience)
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (M–F)
- 2nd Shift: 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM (M–Th) — Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming, in-process, and finished metal parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (Knowledge of True Position/GD&T).
- Use precision tools including Calipers, Micrometers, and Height Gauges.
- Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and document results in job routers.
- Previous Quality Control experience in a machine shop or metal fabrication environment.
- Proficiency with manual measuring instruments and a "zero-defect" mindset.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards is a plus.
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and professional.

Responsibilities
Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.
Verifies incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional inspections; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional verifications; communicating required adjustments to production.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and dimensional verifications; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work to requirements.
Documents inspection results in job routers.
Performs FAIs (First Article Inspection) if required; inputting data into quality database.
Verifies equipment programming by flat pattern or CMM verification.
Verify product as non-conforming and obtain disposition instructions
Verify out going and in coming product for outside labor services including certificates of conformance.
Keeps measurement equipment operating in precise condition by following operating instructions; maintaining calibrations; calling for repairs when needed.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with industry regulations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
