We are seeking a detail-oriented Incoming Quality Control Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in Clearwater. This role is responsible for inspecting incoming materials and components to ensure they meet quality standards before entering production. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on inspection experience who enjoys working in a structured, quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on incoming materials using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  
  
• Execute sampling inspections based on established quality standards (AQL)
  
  
• Verify incoming shipments meet specifications and include proper documentation (CoC, CoA, packing slips)
  
  
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain records in internal systems
  
  
• Identify and separate non-conforming materials
  
  
• Initiate reports and coordinate with internal teams to determine proper disposition (return, scrap, or use-as-is)
  
  
• Support calibration tracking and upkeep of inspection equipment
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
  
  

Qualifications:

• 1–3+ years of experience in quality control or inspection
  
  
• Experience using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret basic specifications and measurements
  
  
• Basic computer skills (Excel and/or ERP systems)
  
  
• Attention to detail and accuracy
  
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments
  
  
• Familiarity with AQL sampling or quality standards
  
  
• Experience with documentation such as Certificates of Conformance (CoC) or Analysis (CoA)
