As a key member of our floor, you won't just be pushing buttons; you’ll be responsible for the critical transition from blueprint to finished part, ensuring our machines are dialed in for maximum accuracy. Pay is $25-30/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Complete Setups: Perform full setups on Okuma CNC Lathes, including tool selection, mounting, and offset adjustments.
- First-Part Inspection: Ensure the first piece off the line meets all dimensional requirements before handing off to operators.
- Program Tweaking: Make necessary minor edits to programs (G-code/M-code) to optimize cycle times and tool life.
- Maintenance: Perform routine machine checks to keep our Okuma fleet running at peak performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot complex geometries.
- Experience: Proven track record setting up CNC Lathes. Specific experience with Okuma (OSP Controls) is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read complex blueprints, understand GD&T, and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges).
- Industry Knowledge: A background in Aerospace manufacturing is a major plus, as we maintain rigorous quality standards.
- Language: Spanish speaking ability is a plus and will help with team communication and training.
- Reliability: You show up on time, take pride in your workstation, and maintain a "safety first" mindset.
