Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Welder to join a global leader in the design and manufacture of innovative food processing equipment. In this role, you will use advanced welding techniques to build stainless steel machinery, translating precision technical plans and blueprints into high-quality finished products. Core Responsibilities
- Advanced Fabrication: Build stainless steel food processing machinery using specialized welding techniques.
- Technical Precision: Interpret and follow precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Process Mastery: Operate manual or semi-automatic equipment for GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG) processes.
- Quality Control: Monitor fitting and welding to avoid material warping, shrinking, or distortion.
- Equipment Care: Perform routine maintenance on welding tools and determine necessary repairs.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in MIG and TIG welding.
Specialization: Proficiency in 14-16 gauge stainless steel and TIG welding is required.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints.
- Weld Test: Must satisfactorily pass a hands-on weld test (plan for a 2-hour commitment, starting by noon).
- Availability: Must be able to work overtime and occasional weekends when workload requires.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds frequently.
