Responsibilities
- Supervise and actively participate in all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to support workflow and maintain productivity
- Lead from the floor by working alongside associates and setting the pace for the team
- Manage shift scheduling, labor allocation, and workload balancing to meet daily targets
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of large, heavy, and high-value products
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and system updates
- Monitor KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, and on-time shipping performance
- Train, coach, and develop team members, including new hires and cross-training staff
- Enforce all safety standards, OSHA guidelines, and company policies
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Communicate effectively with upper management and other shifts to ensure continuity
