Responsibilities
SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring that assigned equipment is operating and maintained and performs building/facility maintenance. Ensures that all tasks and functions of position are performed in a safe manner and that all procedures and requirements are properly followed to accomplish assigned tasks.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:
- Responsible for assigned equipment to meet/exceed operating standards in areas of quality, cost, safety, customer satisfaction and productivity as well as minimizing downtime
- Support Production and operators to ensure equipment runs as scheduled
- Perform PM's on assigned machines to ensure that they run at their maximum capacity through cleaning, lubricating, belt replacement, changing filters, bearings, etc
- Make routine repairs to electrical, pneumatic, and servo driven equipment
- Participate on special projects as required
- SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5-10 years of maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and mechanical breakdowns in industrial machinery
- 3-phase electrical experience
- Experience with VFD, PLC, and servo motors
- Facility maintenance, including plumbing and electrical work
- Experience with conveyor systems, scales, and packaging equipment
- Working with common hand and power tools
- Working with precision measuring instruments, electrical testing devices
- Understanding of Lock Out Tag Out procedures
- Able to read electrical schematics and blueprints
- TIG Welding. Mill/lathe Machining
