Role Overview
- Location: Farmingdale, NY (On-site)
- Shifts Available: * 1st Shift: Morning (e.g., 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
- 2nd Shift: Afternoon/Evening (e.g., 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
- 2nd Shift: Afternoon/Evening (e.g., 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
- Pay Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (Based on experience)
- Industry: Food & Beverage Manufacturing
- Food Safety Monitoring: Conduct regular inspections of the production floor to ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, or PCQI standards.
- Sanitation Checks: Perform pre-operational inspections and ATP swabbing to verify that equipment is sanitized and ready for production.
- Quality Testing: Collect samples of raw ingredients and finished goods for sensory evaluation (taste, texture, color) and laboratory analysis.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs of temperature checks, weight verification, and batch records.
- Line Clearance: Oversee product changeovers to prevent allergen cross-contact and ensure correct labeling and packaging.
- Experience: Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role within a Food Manufacturing environment is required.
- Language: (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred to assist in training and communicating safety protocols to our production staff.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) specifically for food/human consumption.
- Flexibility: Must be able to commit to either the 1st or 2nd shift consistently.
