Responsibilities

• Experience: Must have 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience. Candidates with backgrounds in milling, flour plants, mining, or chemical/soap manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
  
  
• Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute the daily PM schedule and independently scout the plant for mechanical issues to resolve them before they cause downtime.
  
  
• Electrical Motor Maintenance: Troubleshoot, remove, and replace faulty motors in a high-voltage (480V) environment.
  
  
• Reading Electrical Schematics: Read and follow electrical schematics to ensure correct wiring and phase rotation.
  
  
• Conveyor & Elevator Systems (Must-Have): Perform maintenance and repairs on bucket elevators, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, and augers.
  
  
• System Troubleshooting: Conduct root-cause analysis on equipment failures to implement continuous improvements and ensure machines do not fail repeatedly.
  
  
• Pneumatics & Fabrication: Maintain pneumatic blowers and general pneumatic systems; perform welding (any type) primarily on carbon steel components.
  
  
• Specialized Machinery: Clean and maintain powder milling equipment.
  
  
• Motor Control (Nice-to-Have): Change out electric motors and work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) to control motor speeds.
  
  
• Safety & Organization: Wear appropriate PPE as required and maintain a clean, organized shop environment using company-provided tools.
