- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering.
- Technical Experience:
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/refrigeration systems, including thermodynamics and system diagnostics.
- Experience translating HVAC behavior into control logic or software specifications.
- Familiarity with embedded control systems, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces (CAN, Modbus, SPI, etc.).
- Experience programming in C / C++.
- Experience integrating PLC-based systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Beckhoff is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/refrigeration systems, including thermodynamics and system diagnostics.

Responsibilities
- System Development: Lead the development and integration of control systems for marine HVAC products.
- Requirements Definition: Define functional, performance, and control requirements while translating thermodynamic behavior into engineering specifications.
- Algorithm Design: Design, tune, and validate HVAC control algorithms and integrate sensors and actuators.
- Partnership Management: Identify in-house capabilities versus necessary external partnerships and lead those relationships to meet project goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to support production launch and manufacturing readiness.
- Technical Support: Support firmware updates for legacy products and lead troubleshooting and aftersales technical support.
- Documentation: Develop and review test plans, drawings, and support documentation.
