- Do you have experience with running a Mechanical Press and with the punch and die process? We are working with a company who is in a niche market and who has been in business since the early 1900's. Do you have 1 plus years of experience working in a machine shop and do you have knowledge of machining metal, punch and dies as well as general machine shop equipment? This could be a good fit for you if you have experience running a 25-60 ton mechanical press and have worked with punch and dies.
salary: $40,000 - $45,000 per year

Responsibilities
Will be responsible for setup, troubleshooting and operations of a variety of metal forming presses and other machine shop equipment
Additional responsibilities include operation, clean up and light maintenance and assembly of components with the use of tools, jigs, soldering and hand manipulation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operate various types of machinery to produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances
Ability to measure 1ST piece and finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, and meeting quality standards
Ability to follow directions and work well in a team
Working knowledge of metal materials
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Assemble / create components / subassemblies, install components, Wire assemblies/components, through soldering and other mechanical equipment
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions
Monitor production runs to ensure quality standards are met and perform in process inspections
