Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1 year of warehouse experience is preferred.
- Compliance & Safety: Knowledge of carrier operations, shipment routing, and hazardous shipping laws (HAZMAT) is a major plus.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of computers (or the quickness to learn our systems) and the ability to operate motor vehicles and forklifts.
- Communication: Verbal and written skills to coordinate with team members and customers.
- Licensing: Must possess a current, valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strength & Stamina: You must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs independently, and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Mobility: Frequent standing, walking, and the use of hands for grasping and handling product.
- Environment: You will work in a warehouse setting with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, and caustic chemicals (battery acid). Proper safety protocols and PPE are a must.
- Vision: Ability to handle tasks requiring close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Load, unload, and restock batteries. You’ll be responsible for charging, cleaning, dating, and rewrapping rotations to ensure quality standards.
- Quality Control: Test and process adjustment batteries to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Field Support: Run "Hot Shots" (urgent deliveries) as needed and step in for the NAC Delivery Specialist or RSM when required.
- Safe Operations: Operate forklifts and motor vehicles while maintaining a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Logistics & Documentation: Accurately maintain warehouse reporting, process claims, and ensure all driver program requirements are met.
- Customer Interaction: Collect junk/used batteries from the field and handle account payments (cash, checks, and money orders) professionally.
