Pay Range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities Your primary objective is to minimize downtime and maximize production through proactive and reactive maintenance.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections and maintenance on all equipment to ensure peak operational efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Repairs: Perform timely repairs and replacements of faulty components and machinery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Safety & Organization: Adhere to all safety regulations, maintain a clean workspace, and properly utilize power tools and equipment.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with other departments to meet production goals and communicate status updates clearly.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or an Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Technical Expertise: mechanical aptitude with specific knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Reading Mastery: Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Soft Skills: problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work productively without constant supervision.
- Communication: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to follow directions and coordinate with the team.
- Stamina: Ability to stand for at least 8 hours and work overtime as needed.
- Strength: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Agility: Ability to repetitively stoop, bend, climb, crawl, and kneel for extended periods.
- Environment: Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, heat, and dust.
