Responsibilities

• Process Development: Plans and oversees the development of process flows, equipment requirements for quotes, and new product planning.
  
  
• Technical Operations: Develops programs for CNC machines (lathes, milling) and creates layouts and part priority sheets.
  
  
• Continuous Improvement: Implements lean manufacturing mindsets to minimize waste, manages corrective/preventative actions, and reduces product costs through innovation.
  
  
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Acts as a "subject matter" lead to foster a learning culture and works closely with purchasing, quality, sales, and operations departments.
  
  
• Compliance & Safety: Maintains a clean work area and adheres to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, including the use of required PPE like safety shoes and glasses.
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

CNC Tooling (3 years of experience is required)

Fanuc programming (3 years of experience is required)

AutoCAD (3 years of experience is preferred)

SolidWorks (1 year of experience is preferred)

FMEA (2 years of experience is preferred)

SPC (2 years of experience is preferred)

Microsoft Excel (2 years of experience is required)
