Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, adjust, and repair production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Execute preventative maintenance (PMs) and address breakdowns as directed by management.
- Respond to inter-departmental requests based on established priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Troubleshoot both mechanical and electrical failures, reporting all findings to the Facilities Manager.
- Complete daily shift reports to maintain clear communication with the maintenance team.
- Experience: 4 – 6 years of direct mechanical experience, preferably within a food manufacturing setting.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and maneuver objects weighing over 40 lbs and stand for long periods in both hot and cold environments.
- Education: Technician Certifications are required.
