Position Overview An established and growing logistics facility is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator / Material Handler. This role is essential for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory movement, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other industrial vehicles to move, stack, and stage materials.
- Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using scan guns, digital manifests, or pick sheets.
- Inventory Control: Verify product counts, check labels for accuracy, and document inventory movement within the warehouse management system.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain organized, clean, and hazard-free aisles and workstations to maximize operational efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections, report maintenance needs, and strictly adhere to all OSHA regulations and facility safety protocols.
- Prior experience operating forklifts or working in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Valid forklift certification, or the ability to successfully complete certification training upon hire.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and remain active for the duration of a shift.
- Solid attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining an organized workspace.

Material Handling & Order Picking

- Daily Inspections: Conduct pre-shift safety checks on equipment and report malfunctions.
- Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations, facility safety protocols, and PPE requirements.
